Abstract

The valleys of major rivers are the active and diverse arenas of economic development. The main types of economic development of river valleys are: industrial and civil construction, bridge crossings and gas and oil pipelines; hydraulic actions; agricultural use. Fluvial systems are the most dynamic natural objects, in which processes of modern morphogene- sis actively run. As a result of the economic development of river valleys formed by different natural and technical systems whose functioning depends on the particular manifestations of geological and geomorphological processes. At the present time due to intense urbanization, agricultural expansion, the interaction between man and nature is becoming more crowded; often economic activity is factor, which leads to the active development of adverse geological-geomorphological processes.
