| Abstract: | The article analyzes the approach to the foster family as an example of pro-social (helping) behavior. Three aspects of prosocial behavior of adoptive parents are investigated: prosocial identity, social norms of prosocial behavior, manifestations of care (compassion, altruism, empathy). A comparative analysis of the selected aspects in the groups of foster mothers and mothers raising blood children is presented. |
