dc.description.abstract | The present paper describes the possibility of double-layer superhydrophobic coating formation on a porous substrate by the electron-beam sputter deposition of the polymers. As a porous substrate a poly(ethylene terephthalate) track-etched membrane (PET TM) with a thickness of 9.5 μm and pore diameter of 250 nm (pore density of 2×108 cm–2) was used. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) was used for sputtering to form the first hydrophobic layer on the membrane surface and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) was used for sputtering to form the second superhydrophobic layer. | ru |
