Abstract: The purpose of the research consists in studying changes of kinematic parameters of the stroke at swimming by the crawl on the breast, caused by exhaustion of the skeletal muscles which produce the stroke movement of an arm. The sportsmen of 12–13 years having qualification of the first sport category and the candidate in the master of sport took part in experiment. On four pieces of a hundred-meter competitive distance, there were registered duration and average speed of movement, quantity of the stroke s, a step of the swimmer, and duration of one the stroke. According to abovewater and underwater video shootings, the biomechanical analysis of the stroke movements in the phases and the cycles, including determination of duration of phases and forms of a phase trajectory in joints was carried out. Model parameters of articulate angles and changes of kinematic characteristics of the stroke owing to exhaustion are determined.
