The concept of the rights of the child and their regulatory fixing in the Republic of Belarus

Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of the concept of the rights of the child, as well as to the analysis of the content of legislative acts of the Republic of Belarus with a view to search fixing the rights of the child in them. A correlation is made between the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On the Rights of the Child" and the provisions of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. It is concluded that there is no single concept of the rights of the child in the theory of law, and about the need to bring the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On the Rights of the Child" in line with the Convention.
