| Abstract: | Freshwater resources availability in the Republic of Belarus is analyzed. Many year trends in the use of water resources in the country’s economy are revealed in the context of macroeconomic characteris tics, and a forecast of water use is given. Factors determining the current freshwater quality and their possible state in the future are considered. Measures are proposed, facilitating sustainable development of freshwater resources. |
