| Abstract: | Molecular phylogenetic analyses placed the poorly known lichenicolous Pezizella ucrainica within Hyphodiscus. The new combination Hyphodiscus ucrainicus is consequently proposed and is supported by detailed morphological examination of fresh material from Belarus and Switzerland. A new description of the species is provided. |
