Исследуется отношение Аппиана к гражданским войнам в Риме в I в. до н.э., завершившимся установлением монархического режима принципата. Новизна темы характеризуется комплексным подходом к изучению «Римской истории» Аппиана в его отношении к гражданским войнам в Риме в I в. до н.э. The attitude of Appian to civil wars in Rome in the I century B.C., which ended with the establishment of the monarchical regime of the Principate, is investigated. The novelty of the topic is characterized by a comprehensive approach to the study of «Roman history» by Appian in his attitude to the civil wars in Rome in the I century B.C.
