Abstract

Аўтар аналізуе гісторыю «Групы гісторыкаў Камуністычнай партыі Вялікабрытаніі». Мяркуецца, што Група стала важным этапам у інтэлектуальнай і гістарыяграфічнай гісторыі Англіі. Унутраныя і знешнія фактары, уключаючы англійскую гістарыяграфічную спадчыну і еўрапейскія кантынентальныя ўплывы, сталі культурнымі і інтэлектуальнымі стымуламі для ўзнікнення левых трэндаў у ангельскай гістарыяграфіі. Аўтар мяркуе, што Група была рэвізіянісцкай супольнасцю, якая прапаноўвала фактычна мадэрнісцкія падыходы. Група, як мяркуе аўтар, прыняла актыўны ўдзел у трансфармацыі гісторыі як навукі, актуалізувала яе сацыяльныя і эканамічныя вымярэнні. Гісторыкі Групы вызначалі сябе як марксістаў, але фактычна яны былі актыўныя ў спробах замяніць пазітывісцкі дыскурс спробамі ўяўлення мінулага. The author analyzes the history of the «Group of Historians of the Communist Party of Great Britain». It is assumed that the Group became an important stage in the intellectual and historiographic history of England. Internal and external factors, including the English historiographic heritage and European conti-nental influences, became cultural and intellectual stimuli for the emergence of left trends in English his-toriography. The author believes that the Group was a revisionist community that proposed modernist and constructivist approaches. The group, as the author believes, took an active part in the transformation of history as a science, actualizing its social and economic dimensions. From a formal viewpoint, the historians of the group defined themselves as Marxists, but in fact they attempted to replace the positivistic discourse with the invention and imagination of the past as the main languages of historical science. It is assumed that the ideas of the Group have fundamental importance for the further studies of the history of the English Revolution and the processes of modernization, including social and economic transformations and changes.
