dc.description.abstract | In this paper plane wave reflection and transmission phenomena in slabs of artificial anisotropic chiral media, taking into account dielectric and magnetic properties, are theoretically considered. The artificial medium is a superlattice of chiral layers and anisotropic magnetic layers. Biaxial symmetry of the medium is defined by the direction of spiral inclusions and the direction normal to the interfaces between layers. Normal incidence is assumed. The effect of compensation of magnetic and dielectric anisotropy is discussed. A new device based on this effect is proposed. | ru |
