Abstract: В статье рассматривается благоприятное воздействие плавания на организм человека. = In the article is being considered the useful impact of swimming on the human body. Swimming exercises contribute to increase the strength of the respiratory muscles and increase their tone, increase ventilation of the lungs, and contribute to a significant increase in lung vital volume. The much energy is consumed in swimming, the need for oxygen increases, so the swimmer tries to make the most of every breath. A fuller exhale contributes to the pressure of water on the chest; it also contributes to the development of muscles that expand the chest. People who swim regularly, the strength of the heart muscles increases, the volume of blood pushed out by the heart during one cycle of its activity increases, the number of heart contractions decreases, water pressure improves the outflow of blood from the periphery to the heart.
